In Yoga ACTIVATED, Monique Allen, an 8-Limb Power Yoga teacher trained by Jordan Lashley at the Burning Wheel Yoga School, will expand the teaching using her love of anatomy and physiology and experience as a trained dancer and bodybuilder to give postural cues and modifications to help you go deeper into your poses and transcend your perceived limitations.
Monique’s yoga instruction is deeply rooted in her personal journey. As a survivor of childhood trauma, a severe car accident, and other life challenges, she's experienced firsthand the power of the mind-body-spirit connection to heal. Her diverse background, including experiences as a mother, business owner, and author, adds depth to her understanding of human resilience and growth. Through her teaching, Monique shares her wisdom and tools to help others navigate their own paths to wellness.

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra brings the practitioner to a place of deeply relaxed consciousness, the space between the waking and dreaming worlds, where self-healing and illumination may occur. Many students experience deep rest, feeling rejuvenated and refreshed while gaining clarity and increased psychic awareness.
It has been scientifically proven that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2 to 4 hours of deep, restful sleep.

Some instructors focus on the physical postures alone, while you might find yourself experiencing a brief lesson in mantras, mudras, or pranayama in another's class. It's important to find the instructor that resonates with you to achieve success in your yoga practice.
